We’re Southern Home Services—operators of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical brands across the U.S. As we grow, Swift Services (a Southern Home Services company) is searching for a Home Comfort Service Specialist (HVAC) who thrives on diagnostics, craftsmanship, and customer care.

Is this you?

• Do you enjoy cleaning, fine-tuning, and repairing air handlers, ductwork, vents, and condensate drains?
• Can you pinpoint issues quickly and restore system performance in residential homes?
• Are you comfortable translating technical findings into clear options for customers?
• Do you keep a safe, organized workspace and accurate service records?

What you’ll do

• Perform maintenance, service, and repairs on HVAC equipment—air handling units, duct systems, vents, and drainage components.
• Diagnose and resolve performance problems to ensure safe, efficient operation in residential settings.
• Present expert solutions and recommendations tailored to each homeowner.
• Tackle additional duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

• 3-5+ years in HVAC (residential experience preferred).
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking abilities.
• Quality-focused work ethic and positive attitude.
• Exceptional customer service; professional communication at all levels.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and inventive—comfortable with change.

Physical realities

• Lift 50 pounds routinely and up to 100 pounds on occasion.
• Climb ladders; access attics and crawlspaces; work in tight areas; drive; push, carry, and pull; use hand tools; perform delicate, detailed work.
• Must be able to drive.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, including attics and crawlspaces.
• Stand, walk, sit; talk or hear in person and by phone.
• Use hands to handle/feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Regular kneeling, stooping, bending, and crouching.
• Exposure to extreme indoor/outdoor temperatures and weather (wind, rain, ice, snow).
