Crowd Control Specialist - Casino Security

This position is responsible for ensuring patrons are not acting aggressively or destructively, and for protecting staff, property and equipment from damage. Responsibilities Maintain orderliness and etiquette in all applicable vicinities. Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances. Act as part of a quick‑response team in de‑escalating physical or verbal altercations. Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property. Face difficult situations, including physical and verbal altercations, shootings and theft. Escort unruly patrons outside the establishment when needed. Use problem‑solving skills to handle disagreements and resolve any problematic issues. Determine when situations warrant police intervention and cooperate with officers upon their arrival. Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment. Complete incident reports for any verbal or physical altercations, entry or attempted entry of unwelcome guests, accidents/injuries, or other incidents. Respond and provide assistance to all “Code Red” (Officer needing assistance) radio transmissions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma. 5 to 7 years of proven experience as a bouncer or similar role. Must be at least 21 years of age. Formal civilian‑related security training is preferred. Refined crowd management and problem‑solving abilities. Unrivaled observational and conflict‑management skills. Capacity to be stern, as required. Excellent verbal communication abilities. Physically agile with impeccable reflexes. Surveillance skills and detail orientation. Integrity and professionalism. Great physical stamina. Work Environment The duties are performed on the casino floor in a fast‑paced, guest‑smoking environment with constant public exposure and high noise levels. The employee must work nights and weekends, frequently stand or walk around the property, and lift or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
