Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients, fostering a safe space for open dialogue and personal exploration.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, while considering each individual's unique circumstances and needs.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans, actively engaging clients in their development to encourage ownership of their mental health journey.

• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies to promote personal growth and resolution of issues.

• Regularly evaluate and monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Refer clients to additional specialists or community resources when required to provide holistic support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Meridian Mind Healthcare, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and complex family dynamics. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their circumstances, developing coping strategies, and enhancing their overall emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.
\n
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, with a proven record of motivating clients towards progress.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively within the team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling.
\n
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• Previous experience working in a community health setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
