Inventory Control Lead

Job Title: Inventory Control Lead Reports to: Department Supervisor Location: Mooresville, IN Role Overview The Inventory Control Lead works closely with the Inventory Control Supervisor to execute and drive the DC Inventory Control program. The role involves maintaining productive relationships with peers, superiors, auditors, and other stakeholders, and supporting the smooth and efficient operation of department processes. The Lead provides support to fulfillment and other departments by resolving inventory or location issues, ensuring items are set up properly, analyzing and resolving inventory discrepancies, and completing daily receipts, orders, and returns. The position also supports month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end activities and executes various projects as needed. Responsibilities Assist in executing and driving the DC Inventory Control program. Develop and maintain professional relationships with peers, superiors, auditors, and others. Represent the company positively and supportively at all times. Support the Inventory Control Supervisor and Manager to ensure processes flow smoothly. Resolve inventory or location issues to enable on‑time order shipment. Ensure item set‑ups are performed promptly and accurately. Research, analyze, and resolve inventory issues within the IC area. Complete daily receipts, orders, and returns under inventory control responsibility. Assist with month, quarter, and year–end activities. Plan and execute projects as required. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment and perform general housekeeping. Cross‑train in other functions or departments as needed. Qualifications High motivation, team‑player, and self‑starter. Awareness of inventory control conventions. PIT operator (order picker) experience desirable. Benefits Competitive pay and bonuses. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
