Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at White Plains Inner Healing Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for individuals and families.

• Delivering therapy sessions, both individually and with couples, focusing on a wide range of issues including:

• Alcohol and substance abuse
\n
• Physical and psychological trauma

• Grief and loss interventions
\n
• Addressing family conflicts, including sibling rivalries and cut-offs

• Managing job-related stress and medical issues
\n
• Supporting blended families and navigating separations or divorces
\n
• Facilitating communication and reconciliation between family members
\n
\n
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive client records and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers and referring clients to appropriate services when necessary.

• Participating in continuing education and self-improvement initiatives to enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse population, encompassing both adults and adolescents. You will engage with individuals facing a range of mental health issues, from minor adjustment concerns to more severe psychological disorders. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a clinical setting dealing with family dynamics, trauma, and relationship issues is highly preferred. Additionally, familiarity with teletherapy platforms and methodologies will be considered an asset as you provide remote services to clients.
