Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for viability, address discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for laboratory testing when necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and actively participate in maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and sanitized workspace while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
