Work Environment

Your new workplace will be our outpatient office located in Columbia, MD—a community known for its diversity and access to modern amenities. Here, you will experience a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the freedom to execute your clinical skills while continuously learning and adapting through collaboration with other health professionals. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, allowing for a well-structured workweek.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting, conducting consultations and managing follow-up appointments.
• Perform key office procedures, including but not limited to colposcopy, vulvar biopsy, and comprehensive well-woman exams.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students during their clinical rotations, sharing expertise and cultivating a learning environment.
• Engage in scholarly activities, which may include research projects or presentations to enhance your professional growth and contribute to the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily care for adults and women’s health patients, addressing a wide range of medical conditions. Our clinic serves a diverse demographic, giving you the opportunity to engage with patients from varying backgrounds and health needs. You will play a crucial role in promoting preventative care and educating your patients on health management strategies.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required, demonstrating clinical competence and patient management skills.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and computing skills are essential for effectively managing patient care and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred and may further enhance your candidacy.
• Experience working in outpatient settings or familiarity with women’s health issues will be considered an asset.
• Previous involvement in scholarly activities is highly valued, as we encourage continuous learning.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package is competitive, with a salary range of USD 120,000 to 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
