About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Global Privacy to lead the strategy, development, and execution of its Privacy Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all business activities involving personal data are conducted ethically and in compliance with international laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role is pivotal in shaping a culture of integrity as the company advances its oncology pipeline. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, global privacy program management, and operational integration of privacy-by-design principles. The VP, Global Privacy will also be involved in risk management, regulatory engagement, and training to promote a culture of privacy and accountability. Candidates for the Vice President, Global Privacy position at the company should have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, with active bar membership being a plus, and privacy certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, or CIPT. A minimum of 18 years' experience in privacy, data protection, legal, compliance, or risk management is required, with a preference for those with a background in regulated industries. The role demands a deep knowledge of global privacy regulations, experience in cross-border data transfers, and a strong understanding of privacy risk assessments. The ideal candidate will have the ability to influence executive leadership, drive global initiatives, and build and lead high-performing teams. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills are essential.
