Dalton Foundry LLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our team in Warsaw, IN. This is a key leadership role where you'll oversee procurement strategies and supplier relationships that keep our operations running at peak performance. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement of raw materials, supplies, and services
• Manage and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships to ensure quality and on-time delivery
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to align purchasing with operational needs
• Analyze market trends and supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Lead, mentor, and develop purchasing department staff
• Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and procurement regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of purchasing or procurement management experience, preferably in a foundry or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• CPM or CPSM certification is a plus
