Administrative Associate III

Duties Work with Montana Tech's Department of Business. Provide support to the Department Head, Department faculty, and students. Manage day-to-day operations of the Department (including, but not limited to): Answering phone calls Writing and distributing emails Greeting and directing visitors and students Assisting with the scheduling of meetings, travel, and special events Completing forms for faculty members Submitting work orders Scheduling rooms Overseeing the computer labs in the ELC Maintaining inventory of office supplies Monitoring and reconciling Department budgets Assembling and editing the Department Newsletter Maintaining relevant documentation for Department-specific accreditation requirements Required Qualifications High school diploma One year of office administration experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent written and oral communication skills Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree Experience using Montana Tech software (Data Warehouse, Canvas, Navigate, 25Live, etc.) Physical Demands Prolonged Sitting: Most of the workday is spent at a desk or workstation Occasional Standing and Walking: Moving between offices, attending meetings, or navigating a campus or building to access files and equipment Bending and Stooping: Occasionally required to reach lower filing cabinets, organize supplies, or manage equipment cables Fine Motor Skills: Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, operating a mouse, handling documents, and using office machinery Communication: Regularly required to talk and hear, in person and over the phone Vision: Close vision for reading screens and documents; ability to adjust focus Light Lifting: Frequently handling items up to 10 pounds Occasional Lifting: Periodically moving heavier items up to 25 pounds Environmental Factors: Standard office setting with moderate noise levels Please include: Cover letter addressing qualifications Resume Contact information for 3 professional references #J-18808-Ljbffr
