The Sales and Marketing Manager will lead local revenue growth for Sky Zone by building memberships, driving birthday and group event bookings, and strengthening community partnerships. This role is ideal for a high-energy sales and marketing professional who can turn local relationships, outbound sales activity, and park-level promotions into measurable results.

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to grow park revenue, expand our membership base, and strengthen Sky Zone’s position as a premier entertainment destination in the local community.

Position Summary

The Sales and Marketing Manager owns revenue growth across key business lines, including monthly memberships, birthday party bookings, corporate and group events, and facility buyouts. The role combines outbound sales, local business development, community outreach, grassroots marketing, and digital promotion to generate qualified leads and convert them into booked revenue.

The Sales and Marketing Manager works closely with the General Manager, event execution teams, and frontline team members to convert local leads into long-term members, booked events, and memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Success in this role will be measured by growth in monthly memberships, birthday party revenue, group event bookings, local lead generation, community partnership activity, and progress against park-level sales targets.

1. Membership Growth & Retention

● Drive Acquisition: Develop and execute campaigns, on-site promotions, and frontline sales initiatives that increase monthly recurring membership sign-ups and support park-level membership growth targets.

● Member Engagement: Monitor member retention metrics, implement loyalty initiatives, and manage communications to reduce churn.

● On-Floor Sales Coaching: Train frontline team members and front desk staff on effective membership cross-selling and pitch techniques.

2. Outbound Event Sales & Group Bookings

● Corporate & Group Sales: Proactively prospect and secure high-value group events, corporate team outings, school field trips, camp packages, and facility buyouts.

● Birthday Party Revenue: Improve birthday party revenue by optimizing packages, promoting add-ons, and increasing booking momentum during peak weekend periods.

● Pipeline Management: Track leads, inquiries, proposals, follow-ups, and closed deals through the park’s CRM and booking software to maintain an accurate sales pipeline and improve conversion visibility.

3. Local Marketing & Community Outreach

● Community Partnerships: Build strong partnerships with local school districts, youth sports leagues, PTA organizations, non-profits, and local businesses.

● Grassroots Events: Plan and execute off-site marketing activations, fundraisers, Spirit Nights, and community sponsorship presence.

● Local Digital & Social Strategy: Oversee local social media channels, localized promotions, and event calendars in alignment with brand guidelines.

4. Revenue Tracking & Reporting

● Performance Metrics: Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets for memberships, birthday party revenue, group packages, and facility buyouts, and use results to recommend local sales and marketing adjustments.

● Market Analysis: Monitor local market trends, community events, and competitor activity to adjust strategy and maximize park yield during peak/off-peak periods.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Experience: 3 plus years of experience in sales, local business marketing, or event planning (hospitality, entertainment, fitness, or recreation background preferred).

● Track Record: Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets, lead generation goals, and sales KPIs.

● Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; comfortable making outbound calls and pitching to business owners and group planners.

● Availability: Flexibility to work standard business hours, with occasional evening and weekend presence for major park events or off-site community activations.

● Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with POS systems, CRM software, Google Workspace / Microsoft Office, and local social media marketing tools.
