About the Role
Join a high-impact IT Operations Team as a Salesforce Developer and play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform. This is a full-time, 1-year remote engagement where you will directly support business teams, mentor peers, and drive continuous improvement in a collaborative, inclusive environment.




Responsibilities




- Architect, develop, and maintain complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visual Force, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, and flows
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, demonstrate solutions, and deliver product demos
- Analyze business needs and translate specifications into effective technical solutions
- Document solutions with clear SOPs, flowcharts, code comments, and diagrams
- Perform code reviews, develop test scripts, and conduct pre-QA testing
- Mentor other engineers to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and systems
- Communicate upcoming releases, enhancements, and project risks to leadership
- Uphold organizational standards, security policies, and NYSERDA procedures
- Participate in daily standups, work assignments, and professional development activities




Required Skills and Experience




- 5+ years hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Visual Force, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, and flows
- Strong background with Service and Sales Clouds
- Deep understanding of relational databases and data integration tools
- Proven ability to interpret specs and execute solutions with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and analytical skills; adept at direct stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated team player committed to respect, fairness, and inclusion
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

- Salesforce technical certifications
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira
