Job Description

Position Summary Mid-level tailoring position responsible for cutting and fitting cadet

uniform components using automated cutting systems, and performing garment alterations to

meet fit and regulation standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Operate the Gerber AccuMark CAD-CAF and GTxL

automated cutting system to cut standard and non-standard components of USMA cadet

uniforms - Cut replacement components for damaged garments - Perform final fitting of

tailored cadet uniforms - Assist in determining whether stock garment modification or Made-

to-Measure garment production is the appropriate solution - Comply with all site safety,

security, and HSE requirements

Minimum Qualifications - Solid tailoring and garment-fitting experience - Familiarity with

automated cutting systems (Gerber AccuMark or similar) preferred; training may be provided -

Ability to read, write, and speak English - Must pass background check, medical screening, and

any required installation-access vetting - Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise legally eligible to

work on a U.S. Government installation

Physical Demands - Standing/walking for extended periods; fine motor skills for cutting and

fitting work - Ability to lift/carry fabric bolts and finished garments as needed

Work Environment - Indoor manufacturing/production environment with cutting
