Your Role

• Conduct thorough evaluations using both standardized assessments and observational techniques across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Create customized treatment plans targeting immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver dedicated one-on-one speech therapy interventions focused on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop cohesive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families to encourage progress beyond clinical settings.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care for every patient.
• Maintain up-to-date and precise documentation that aligns with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay informed of advancements in your field through continuous education and collaborative efforts with peers.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Required Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
