Banquet Captain

Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center is hiring an experienced Server/Trainer to lead food service coordination at events held in our ballrooms. This is a full-time position with day and evening hours based on events. Weekend availability is required. Banquet server experience and the ability to coach staff to provide exceptional guest service are essential. Wage is $15/hr plus gratuity. Overview The Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center seeks an experienced Server/Trainer to coordinate food service for events in our ballrooms. Attendance may include mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on events. Responsibilities Coordinate staff assignments, pace of service, and teamwork during events. Assist in resolving guest concerns. Participate in room and buffet setup. Serve plated food or buffet style for breakfast meetings, luncheons, weddings, banquets, etc. Stand for the duration of the shift. Lift and carry trays with 8–10 meals and serve them to guests; clear tables. Complete a pre-employment background check. The Ingleside Hotel is a drug-free workplace. Qualifications Banquet server experience is required, preferably in a Captain or Trainer role. Must have weekend availability.
