Outside Sales Representative

Utah PaperBox is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are specifically seeking someone with print, packaging, folding carton, or related industry sales experience who is interested in relocating to Utah and building a long-term career with an established, family-owned company.

The Opportunity

This is a true outside sales role for someone who enjoys developing new business, building relationships, and growing a book of business. You’ll prospect for new customers, develop opportunities, and work closely with our internal estimating, structural design, customer service, and production teams to bring packaging projects from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within folding carton, rigid box, and related packaging markets


• Prospect and build relationships with prospective customers through calls, email, networking, referrals, industry events, and in-person meetings


• Manage opportunities throughout the sales process, from initial outreach through quoting, sampling, production, and ongoing account development


• Identify customer needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop effective packaging solutions


• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and facility tours


• Maintain an active pipeline and consistently follow up on prospective opportunities


• Use CRM and prospecting tools to document activity, manage opportunities, and identify potential customers


• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and serve as a trusted packaging resource


• Meet established sales and new-business goals

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in printing, packaging, folding cartons, labels, corrugated, or a closely related industry strongly preferred


• Proven ability to prospect and develop new business


• Strong relationship-building and communication skills


• Self-motivated and comfortable managing a sales territory and pipeline


• Ability to understand technical products and communicate effectively with customers and internal manufacturing teams


• Comfortable with a combination of phone/email prospecting, networking, and in-person selling


• Willingness to travel as needed


• Must be willing to relocate to the Salt Lake City, Utah area

Salary/Compensation: $60,000 - $125,000 per year plus commission
