Sr Dir, Business Development, Genomics - Global Head of Sales

Senior Director position leading global genomics sales and business development at a clinical research services company. Responsible for establishing growth programs, managing sales staff, developing customer relationships, and identifying market opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage effective sales program to drive organizational growth and revenue targets
- Lead, develop, and manage sales team including performance evaluation and career progression
- Direct business development activities from opportunity identification through contract award
- Monitor customer account plans and sales pipeline; collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives
- Research target markets, build relationships, deliver presentations, and execute implementation plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management
- 15 years industry experience in CRO/pharmaceutical and/or sales, with 10 years management responsibility
- Proven track record developing mid-level and high-level contacts
- Strategic business awareness and ability to translate industry trends
- Understanding of drug discovery, development, and commercialization principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and influence others internally and externally
Compensation: $129,800-$361,800 base
