Responsibilities Promote and sell memberships and services Learn to give quality tours according to the goals and interests of our members Give quality tours to potential new members Promoting and selling memberships as well as other YMCA programs (e.g., swim lessons, youth sports, personal training, etc.) Being knowledgeable about program offerings and proactively looking up accurate information online or through internal systems when needed Giving quality tours tailored to the interests of prospective members Scan member cards and greet by name Greeting members by name and scanning members in Build relationships and retain members / helping retain members Providing prompt, friendly, and professional service Answer member questions in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner Multitasking in a fast-paced environment while managing front desk responsibilities Attend paid trainings and meetings and learn new skills Participating in paid trainings and team meetings Work with a team to make a lasting difference in your community Performing light cleaning duties and helping with hospitality tasks (e.g., making coffee, folding towels, stocking supplies) Light cleaning, washing/folding towels, making coffee, stocking cups and creamer, and making our members feel valued and appreciated.
