In this full-time role, you will work on-site within our established orthopedic outpatient facility, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient recovery and well-being. This collaborative atmosphere encourages sharing knowledge and techniques to enhance patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments, ensuring alignment with recovery goals.Utilize hands-on techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve patients' functional abilities and pain levels.Educate patients and their families about recovery strategies, self-management techniques, and preventive care to promote long-term health.Continuously monitor and document patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR), making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of care and improved patient outcomes.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will focus on a diverse range of patients who require rehabilitation services for various orthopedic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By providing tailored therapy and support, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain mobility and enhance their quality of life.QualificationsA Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing.A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of orthopedic conditions.Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, particularly WebPT, is highly preferred.A history free from disciplinary or board actions enhances your candidacy.Preferred ExperienceExperience working in an outpatient and/or home care environment is advantageous.Ability to engage effectively with patients and foster a compassionate therapeutic relationship.Proficiency in conducting group therapy sessions and community education programs.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
