Research Administrator

Overseeing pre-award activities and non-financial post-award processes, the full-time remote Sponsored Research Administrator III will manage proposal submissions, ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines, and collaborate with investigators and grant administrators to facilitate research project support. Key responsibilities Reviews data within the institutional grant management system and manages proposal review and submission Interprets sponsor guidelines and collaborates with research administration stakeholders to address questions Conducts final review and submission of proposals and progress reports, ensuring compliance throughout the proposal and award lifecycle Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Research Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant research administration experience, or 10 years of proven grant administration experience in lieu of a degree Experience with S2S systems and electronic grant management platforms such as grants.gov, ASSIST, and eRA Commons Solid understanding of federal, state, and private sponsor research guidelines Familiarity with compliance areas including export controls, conflicts of interest, and human and animal subjects regulations Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
