Employment Law Attorney

Job Description Our busy law firm is growing, and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners and administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve clients. If you have excellent research and writing skills, can easily use today's technology, and communicate effectively across all levels, we would love to connect! Responsibilities Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution Qualifications Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years Able to work independently while handling multiple files Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must Ability to use Microsoft Office is required Willing to commute and work on-site.
