Assess clients from pediatric to geriatric populations utilizing recognized evaluation methods and observational insights.

Create individualized treatment strategies focusing on immediate and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.

Conduct personalized speech therapy sessions addressing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.

Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, doctors, families, and caretakers to ensure a unified approach to patient care.

Provide education to patients and their families to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions.

Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and therapies, maintaining care continuity.

Document patient information thoroughly and promptly in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Remain at the forefront of your field by engaging in continuous education and professional collaboration.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Competence in employing evidence-based methodologies for diverse age groups, particularly with developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders.

Strong communicative abilities with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Capability to modify therapeutic techniques to cater to various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Exceptional clinical evaluation and critical thinking skills.

Familiarity with electronic health record systems and adherence to documentation standards.
