Delivery Lead - Model Governance & Validation - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Delivery Lead - Model Governance & Validation - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract to hire opportunity.

This position serves as the primary coordinator for model documentation, validation readiness, evidence quality, and Model Risk Management (MRM) deliverables throughout the model development lifecycle. The role partners closely with Data Scientists, Model Developers, Validators, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure models meet enterprise standards for documentation, explainability, testing, and production readiness. The Delivery Lead proactively identifies documentation gaps, validation risks, and evidence deficiencies to minimize remediation efforts and support timely regulatory and governance approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own model documentation readiness, gap analysis, and quality reviews
• Coordinate validation preparation, evidence collection, and findings remediation
• Identify gaps in model documentation, testing, and governance artifacts
• Drive remediation of validation findings and documentation deficiencies
• Partner with Model Developers on explainability, monitoring, and performance testing requirements
• Ensure model submissions are audit, regulator, and MRM ready
• Track model lifecycle milestones, approvals, and governance dependencies
• Support ongoing monitoring, implementation validation, and post-production controls

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent 4-year experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting model development, model validation, model governance, AI/ML delivery, or risk management programs
• Proven ability to coordinate complex deliverables across model developers, validators, technology teams, and governance stakeholders
• Experience with model lifecycle documentation including Model Development Documents (MDD), Ongoing Monitoring Plans (OMP), AI Risk Assessments, validation evidence packages, implementation documentation, and monitoring deliverables
• Strong understanding of model validation principles, data quality assessments, testing methodologies, explainability requirements, bias and fairness reviews, monitoring controls, and regulatory expectations
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
• Experience working in Agile environments with multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities
• Experience with Python, Tableau, and SQL
• This role requires resources that do not require sponsorship now or in the future

Desired skills:

• Strong understanding of digital platforms, conversational AI, and intelligence virtual assistant technologies
• Good knowledge of Agile Lean Software Delivery Life Cycle and/or iterative development life cycles
• Ability to work in a high-paced work environment
• Proactive mindset

Pay range: $55.00 - $63.00 per hour
