Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $28.00 to $32.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice review, matching procedures, and payment preparation activities.

• Maintain vendor records, resolve payment discrepancies, and ensure accurate processing of financial documents.

• Support accounts receivable functions by assisting with collections, customer account maintenance, and payment tracking.

• Post cash receipts, update financial records, and assist with billing and invoicing activities.

• Support month end close processes, reconciliations, reporting tasks, and special accounting projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bring experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting support functions.

• Demonstrate knowledge of invoice processing, account reconciliation procedures, and financial record maintenance.

• Possess experience working with enterprise resource planning systems and accounting software applications.

• Maintain the ability to process a high volume of financial transactions while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard business applications.

Qualifications:

• Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.

• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail when reviewing invoices, payments, and financial records.

• Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, accounting teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Maintain strong organizational skills while managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and transaction volumes.

• Bring experience within manufacturing environments, month end close activities, cash application processes, or financial reporting support considered beneficial.
