Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during a variety of surgical procedures, including ENT, general surgery, GI Endoscopy, GYN, orthopedics, podiatry, OB, pediatric cases, robotic surgeries, urology, and vascular surgeries.
• Support seven operating rooms in the main Surgery department, four at the Surgi-Center, plus GI treatment rooms, bronchoscopy, and catheterization lab.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff in a team-oriented environment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative care.

Required Skills

• Valid Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) licensure and certification.
• Proven experience in a variety of surgical settings with strong patient management skills.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to team work.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted procedures.
• Knowledge of pediatric anesthesia.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Master's degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia.
• At least 2 years of anesthesia experience in a hospital setting.
• Prior experience supporting diverse surgical cases is highly desirable.

Other Requirements

• Valid state licensure and certification as a CRNA.
• Willingness to work night shifts, with some flexibility to meet scheduling preferences.
• Travel and lodging reimbursements provided if applicable.
