Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to assist and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty. Such activity must be in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing, to ensure that the highest degree of total quality care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
• Maintain quality care standards under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or comparable institution.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of Colorado.
• IV certification preferred for LPNs.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Colorado adult protective services (CAPS) check required.
