ServiceNow Solutions Engineer

Salary: $104,000 - 156,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• We require at least 5 years of relevant work experience, though an equivalent mix of education and related experience may be considered.
• We are looking for deep ServiceNow expertise, including experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
• We need a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including CMDB, integrations, workflows, and platform best practices.
• Experience planning, testing, and delivering annual ServiceNow platform upgrades is required.
• Experience with both on-premises and cloud-based ServiceNow environments is strongly preferred.
• We value hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, the development framework, and data governance.
• We are seeking proficiency in JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI customization.
• Experience building integrations with REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub is required.
• Additional experience with Java and other languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, or C++ is a plus.

• We plan, test, and execute annual ServiceNow platform upgrades.
• We design, develop, and support enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
• We work with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and data governance activities.
• We collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• We troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and maintain technical documentation.
• We use Java and related development technologies to build and support solutions.
• We develop integrations using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub.
• We participate in the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and design.
• We write technical specifications from conceptual designs and business requirements.
• We support, maintain, and document software functionality.
• We evaluate new technologies for potential implementation.
• We analyze code to identify defects and revise programs as needed.
• We take part in software design meetings and assess user needs to define technical requirements.
• We consult with end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs so they meet business needs.
• We serve as a technical expert on development projects and perform complex work with minimal supervision.

We are offering a telecommute contract role with a work schedule of 8am to 5pm and an hourly rate of $50 to $75.
