Construction Accountant

A multi project real estate developer is in search of a seasoned Construction Staff Accountant. Duties Process accounts payable and accounts receivable related to ongoing projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist with budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize project profitability Review and process monthly sub contractor AIA (G702 & G703) Project Job cost tracking and cost variance anlysis for multiple projects Manage monthly draw packages- billing and invoicing Experience Proven experience in corporate accounting with a focus on construction or real estate development preferred- minimum 5 years experience Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), accrual accounting, and double entry bookkeeping practices Familiarity with accounting software- Sage Intacct (a MUST) and Excel (pivot tables/V look ups) Bachelors Degree in Accounting Skilled in account reconciliation, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial analysis techniques Excellent understanding of debits & credits, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial concepts necessary for accurate financial management #J-18808-Ljbffr Sterling Properties Group, NJ
