Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Great Valley Psychotherapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Applying evidence-based therapeutic modalities to provide effective treatment for various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, and stress-related conditions.

• Offering consultation and educational services to primary care providers, enhancing collaborative care within our interdisciplinary team.

• Engaging in continuous evaluation and follow-up activities to monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.

• Contributing to group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment where clients can share experiences and learn from one another.

• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational protocols, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve providing care to various populations, including veterans, individuals facing substance abuse challenges, and diverse community members seeking mental health support. Understanding cultural sensitivity and the specific needs of each client will be essential to effectively deliver personalized interventions.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Proficiency in using computerized documentation systems and telehealth software.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of the DSM and ability to develop appropriate treatment goals.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
