Litigation Associate AttorneyClark Partington, a Gulf Coast regional law firm with a professional, collaborative culture and modern work environment is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team in Pensacola.Qualified candidates will be admitted to practice in Florida and have 1-5 years of litigation experience, including taking and defending depositions; preparing and responding to discovery; drafting appropriate pleadings; researching, drafting and arguing motions; and preparing for mediations and trial. Ideal candidates will be able to write effectively, think strategically and critically, and have practiced in one or more areas of civil litigation, such as construction, real estate, contract, employment, directors' and officers' liability, and professional liability.Requirements and Responsibilities:Experience drafting pleadings and related documents for state and federal litigation and arbitrationDrafting and arguing motions, including dispositive motionsManaging litigation and litigation strategy from inception through discovery and trialHigh level of detail-orientation and exceptional research, writing and proofreading skillsWorking knowledge of the processes of State and Federal litigation including trial procedures, discovery and document productionProfessionally work with the Court, other attorneys, and offices of opposing counselAdvising clients on legal risks and compliance in litigation and commercial transactionsExperience preparing for and attending mediation and negotiating resolutions of legal disputesExperience with case and document management applications such as Everlaw is preferredQualifications:Law Degree from Accredited Law SchoolMember in Good Standing, The Florida BarExperience – 1-5 YearsSalary starting at $80,000 and commensurate with experience.Benefits:The firm offers a competitive salary with an exceptional benefits package including employer-paid health insurance, employer-paid short and long-term disability including life insurance, optional group dental & vision insurance, 401(k), and profit sharing.To be considered for this position:Please send a cover letter and resume to Amanda Walls, Firm Administrator, at View email address on click.appcast.io.
