Summary:

The Payroll and Benefits Administration Manager for LUMA Residential is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate employee records and the timely payment of salaries and funding of employee benefits. The Payroll and Benefits Administration Manager is also responsible for administering all software and systems related to these functions. He or she also assists the accounting staff by maintaining correct accounting records and reconciling bank and account statements. Job requirements and responsibilities include:

• Assist with budgeting payroll for all properties and corporate departments

• Reviewing & approving entries into payroll software, and resolving exceptions

• Reviewing & approving payroll/benefit allocations and ensuring prompt funding

• Understanding company pay, time-off, and benefit policies and being able to explain and direct employees to proper resources to address questions about them

• Ensuring prompt and proper setup of new employees in, and removal of terminated employees from, payroll and related software and collection of required documentation

• Preparing and making bank deposits, and reconciling deposits and withdrawals

• Preparing and analyzing utility bills and reimbursements from residents

• Using software to make and track financial transactions

• Maintaining confidential business records

• Assisting Vice President of Accounting and Accountant(s) as requested

• Reading and speaking English

Required Qualifications

• high school diploma (some college preferred)

• experience on Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams

• HRIS management experience of a minimum of 2 years

• experience with EEOC, DOL, and Workers Compensation Admin filings of a minimum of 1 year

• at least three (3) years (continuous in one operation) of recent experience comparable with the position under consideration (multifamily experience preferred)

• Paycom experience of 1 year is strongly preferred
