Companion Care Aide Mount Sinai, NY Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and caring Companion Care Aide to join our team at Comfort Touch Health Agency. As a Companion Care Aide, you will provide non-medical care services to seniors in the comfort of their own homes, including companionship, socializing, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and running errands. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of seniors, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Provide companionship and social support to seniors in their homes, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, playing games, and watching movies Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry Help with medication reminders and appointment scheduling Run errands, such as grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions Use own transportation to travel to client locations Maintain accurate records of services provided and client needs Requirements 1 years of experience and guidance provided High school diploma or equivalent Ability to speak English Own transportation and valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform light physical activity Compassionate and caring demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dementia experience Availability We have part-time and full-time availability for this position, with opportunities to work in Mount Sinai, NY. Full-Time hours: Thursday 1p-9p, Friday 9a-9p, Saturday 9a-9p, and Sun 1p-9p Part-Time hours: Sunday 9a-1p, Monday 9a-1p, Wednesday 9a-1p, and Friday 9a-1p #J-18808-Ljbffr Comfort Touch Health Agency
