ITS EPIC Ambulatory Principal Trainer- Remote

Overview Location: Remote – Ohio; Department: ITS Provider Opex; Weekly Hours: 40; Status: Full time; Shift: Days (United States of America). Job Summary As the EPIC Ambulatory Principal Trainer, you are responsible for training the user community on Epic applications and serve as the expert on Epic clinical applications and associated ProMedica clinical or operational workflows. You will build, test, and maintain the training technical environment, create and maintain high‑quality training materials, and coordinate super‑user training for the application. Responsibilities Train and support users on Epic applications and clinical workflows. Maintain the training technical environment. Create and update training materials. Coordinate super‑user training sessions. Provide a dynamic, engaging learning environment. Required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience. Strong computer skills and technical aptitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Self‑motivated, interpersonal, and trouble‑shooting capabilities. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Must earn required certification within 3 months of completing the first Epic class for the designated application. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education, information technology, business, or related field. Experience providing education to adult learners and computer‑based learning. Knowledge of health‑care operations and Microsoft Office. 3–5 years of experience as an educator in industry or academic settings. Epic Ambulatory Principal Trainer certification. Working Conditions This is a remote position with limited to residents of selected U.S. states. Occasionally may lift or carry medium‑weight objects.
