Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health needs, developing personalized and actionable treatment plans that address their specific challenges.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care techniques.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary, guiding clients through immediate challenges and facilitating referrals to appropriate community resources for ongoing support.

• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers, to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Tennessee state regulations, ensuring confidentiality and fostering trust with clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and training to stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults who present with a variety of mental health concerns. This includes anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and emotional disturbances, among others. Your ability to connect with clients and establish rapport will be crucial in guiding them through their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• You must hold an active LMHC license in Tennessee, in good standing, and be passionate about providing quality mental health care.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in outpatient or community mental health settings, is essential.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapy interventions and a strong understanding of mental health treatment methodologies.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
