Javanese Translator for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply your Javanese language expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through accurate, culturally grounded language input. This remote contract role focuses on translation, localization, linguistic review, and clear collaboration across global teams. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and localize documents, content, and communications to and from Javanese with cultural and contextual accuracy.
• Conduct linguistic reviews and quality assurance to maintain high language standards.
• Advise cross-functional teams on Javanese language nuances.
• Develop, edit, and proofread Javanese written materials for a range of projects.
• Help create glossaries, style guides, and best practices for Javanese language work.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate remotely with global team members to support effective communication and project progress.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Javanese, including a strong understanding of regional dialects and variations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Javanese and English.
• Demonstrated experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance.
• Deep cultural knowledge of and sensitivity to Javanese-speaking communities.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with digital collaboration tools and language software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal education in linguistics, translation, or a related field.
• Professional experience supporting language or localization initiatives.
• Familiarity with project-management tools and agile methodologies.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $45 to $95 per hour.
