Lead Software Engineer - Python, AI

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal software engineering training or certification, plus 5+ years of practical experience.
• We are looking for strong Python expertise and familiarity with agentic development.
• We need proven leadership in engineering, architecture, and stakeholder engagement.
• We expect experience with database design and data modeling on modern platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• We value hands-on experience using Copilot or Claude Code to design and deliver end-to-end applications.
• We require a working understanding of multi-cloud environments, with exposure to AWS.
• We need experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate setting using one or more modern programming and database query languages.
• We are seeking experience in risk and P&L within markets.
• We expect understanding of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• We require demonstrated success leading approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting standards to validate AI outputs for accuracy, performance, and security.
• We need a strong grasp of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and coaching others on compliant adoption.

• We will have you lead full-stack development of React/TypeScript UI dashboards and Python-based services.
• You will deliver data pipelines and ETL solutions on platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• You will execute software solution design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• You will guide the use of large language models as controlled components within the software engineering lifecycle.
• You will lead LLM-based structured requirements analysis by translating business and regulatory needs into technical specifications.
• You will establish prompt-driven design and development practices, treating prompts as versioned and reviewable engineering assets.
• You will ensure prompt strategies support determinism, reproducibility, and traceability in regulated environments.
• You will help ensure LLM-driven systems meet enterprise standards for reliability and resilience.
• You will oversee how LLM-assisted and agent-driven development is carried out so model strengths, limitations, and risks are properly understood and applied.
• You will drive adoption of enterprise-approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• You will apply SDLC tooling knowledge, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered through automation.
