Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.We offer 1 week of training, and the rest will be on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.Primary Responsibilities:Review open AR and analyze unpaid claim balancesResearch and resolve government payer claim denialsPerform follow-up activities with timeliness, efficiency, and accuracyEnsure thorough documentation of all accounts worked on a daily basisIdentify issues/trends and escalate to Supervisor/Manager for assistanceAdhere to regulatory/payer guidelines and internal policies and proceduresMaintain good attendance by adhering to defined scheduleConsistently meet or exceed team standards for average daily productivity and maintain a high level of qualityYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experienceMust be 18 years of age OR older3+ years of major medical insurance collections and other governmental plans1+ years of Medicare and Medicare Advantage experienceAdvanced understanding of healthcare revenue cycle, especially hospitals and multi-specialty clinicsWorking knowledge of EOB/EOP and RA language and codesUnderstanding of HIPAA guidelinesAbility to navigate patient accounting systems, billing systems, and payer portalsAbility to work full-time, Monday - Friday.
