Accounts Receivable Specialist

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a valued client in the Tampa area that has an immediate need for an Accounts Receivable Specialist . This is a temporary opportunity with a growing organization seeking a detail-oriented professional who can step in quickly and make an impact.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of recent high-volume Accounts Receivable experience and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume accounts receivable transactions
• Perform cash application and payment posting
• Manage customer account reconciliations
• Conduct collections activities and follow up on outstanding balances
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Monitor aging reports and maintain accurate AR records
• Collaborate with customers and internal departments regarding account issues
• Assist with month-end AR reporting and reconciliations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of high-volume Accounts Receivable experience
• Strong cash application and collections background
• Experience with account reconciliations and aging reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• ERP system experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to start immediately
