POSITION

Our client is hiring a Patient Recruitment Specialist to join its Walnut Creek, California site. This role is responsible for identifying, screening, and following up with potential clinical trial participants while helping the site meet enrollment goals across assigned studies. The position is best suited for someone who enjoys speaking with patients, working in a fast-paced environment, and balancing high call volume with detailed documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct inbound and outbound calls with potential study participants and complete initial phone screenings Review study requirements and use protocol criteria to determine whether potential participants may qualify Enter patient medical history, demographic information, screening results, and follow-up activity into clinical research systems Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective participants, including appointment reminders and outreach to missed appointments Support recruitment planning, study launches, community events, screenings, and other initiatives designed to increase enrollment Work closely with the broader clinical research team while maintaining patient confidentiality and following applicable research regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred 3+ years of experience in clinical research, biological research, patient recruitment, or a closely related environment Prior experience handling high-volume inbound and outbound phone calls Strong communication, customer service, organization, and follow-up skills Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical research regulations such as GCP, HIPAA, FDA, or IRB guidelines is preferred Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and accurately documenting activity in computerized systems #J-18808-Ljbffr SQRL
