What You'll Do:

• Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams on both adult and pediatric patients.
• Coordinate with hospital departments for scheduling, patient transport, and billing accuracy.
• Assist cardiologists by preparing M-modes and exchanging diagnostic information.
• Respond promptly to patient needs during exams and communicate any condition changes.
• Maintain supply inventory, ensure exam rooms are clean and organized, and manage patient records.
• Participate in departmental and hospital-wide performance improvement activities.
• Maintain equipment quality control and coordinate repairs as necessary.
• Stay updated on advancements in echocardiography through ongoing education and collaboration with cardiologists.
• Support other cardiac procedures as needed.

What You Need:

• Required:
• Active A.R.D.M.S./CCI registration or registry-eligible status
• New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of related experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and manual dexterity skills
• Preferred:
• Allied health training from programs such as diagnostic medical sonography, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing
