Accounting Clerk (Part-Time)Dayton, OH | On-site $38k-$42kPosition SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented accounting clerk to support our nonprofit’s finance operations. The accounting clerk will handle accounts payable, cash receipts, and provide administrative support. This accounting clerk role is ideal for someone organized, accurate, and comfortable working independently in a mission-driven environment.Key Responsibilities of Accounting ClerkAccounts Payable (AP)Route invoices for approvalCode and enter invoices into the accounting systemReconcile and process refundsMaintain AP recordsCash ReceiptsPost and reconcile incoming paymentsPrepare depositsAssist with monthly reconciliationsAdministrative SupportProvide general office and finance supportMaintain organized financial filesAssist with data entry and special projectsQualifications of Accounting Clerk1–3 years of experience as an accounting clerk or similar roleKnowledge of AP and cash handling proceduresStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Excel and accounting software
