*FILLED* Pediatric Neurogastroenterology

We’re seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Neurogastroenterologist for an exciting opportunity to develop a Pediatric Neurogastroenterology and Motility program at Ochsner Hospital for Children in New Orleans, Louisiana . The successful candidate will be an integral part of a comprehensive pediatric digestive care program within Ochsner’s Health’s regional health system, the largest not-for-profit academic health system in the Gulf South. The Section of Pediatric GI, Hepatology & Nutrition, currently 10 physicians and 1 NP, offers pediatric advanced endoscopy and ERCP, pancreatology, hepatology and liver transplantation, intestinal rehabilitation, and comprehensive programs in aerodigestive disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, pediatric feeding & swallowing disorders, and colorectal malformations. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Program Development Collaborate with leadership to develop and lead a regional Pediatric Neurogastroenterology and Motility program. Clinical Care Provide inpatient and outpatient care for children with pediatric digestive disorders, focusing on those with dysmotility and disturbances of gut-brain interaction. Perform gastrointestinal endoscopy and motility procedures. Partner with medical and surgical colleagues to serve children with complex conditions in multidisciplinary programs. Teaching and Research Teach medical students, residents, and allied health students. Clinical and translational research opportunities abound for qualified candidates.
