Associate Trademark Attorney

Day Pitney's Trademark and Copyright Group is seeking an Associate with a minimum of 3 years of trademark and copyright experience to join our growing team in either our Boston or New York office, with flexibility to consider Connecticut. Ideal candidates will have in-depth experience with: domestic and global trademark prosecution, strategy, enforcement and management, including trademark counseling, clearance search and analysis, prosecution and maintenance, portfolio management. trademark disputes, internet and e-commerce, online investigations and general enforcement matters. structuring, drafting and negotiating agreements and contractual provisions related to IP and trademark matters. conducting IP due diligence for corporate mergers, acquisitions, and other deals. trademark disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Day Pitney's Trademark attorneys represent clients of all sizes, including some of the world's most recognizable brands across a myriad of industry sectors, including financial services, technology, sports and entertainment, health and wellness, and consumer products. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of dedicated intellectual property experience in private practice. Excellent organizational, technical, and professional. Excellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skills. Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration. Proven track record of problem solving and "thinking outside of the box" to achieve client goals. Self-starter with excellent client service skills and strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume trademark prosecution practice.
