Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students, helping them navigate their path towards clinical licensure and fostering their development as emerging therapists.

• Conduct psychotherapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Participate actively in the formulation and adjustment of treatment plans, ensuring alignment with best practices and client goals.

• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate records, adhering to ethical and legal standards, while remaining engaged with ongoing training in documentation practices.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to create comprehensive care plans that address the holistic needs of our clients.

• Keep abreast of recent research, therapy techniques, and advancements in the mental health field to continuously enhance both client care and personal professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed therapist at Englewood Counseling Center, you’ll work with a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to seniors, presenting various challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Our center is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for all clients, ensuring culturally competent care tailored to each individual's background and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).

• Current, valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Professional liability insurance, ensuring best practices in client care.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience supervising practicum students or interns in a clinical setting.

• Proficiency in teletherapy and familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
