About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its Medical Group. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in a complex multi-specialty medical group environment. This role is pivotal in driving the performance, patient access, and employee engagement of the medical group, which has seen significant growth and now includes a large number of employed providers. The COO will be responsible for operational oversight, advancing the group's vision, and improving performance through the integration of strategies, processes, and practices that ensure a culture of excellence and a standardized operational approach. Applicants for the COO position at the company's Medical Group should be dynamic leaders with a distinct vision for the medical group. The role requires a leader with contemporary knowledge and a depth of experience in a multi-specialty medical group, capable of supporting and improving operational capabilities to meet the demands of growth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience in a large multi-specialty group practice environment, be a visible and authentic leader, and possess high emotional intelligence. The COO must be adept at engaging with physicians of diverse backgrounds and administrators at various levels, and be committed to formulating approaches that support high performance and accessible care.
