Central Supply Sterile Processing Technician

Schedule: 8H Rotating (Day/Evening)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 6 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Certification: CRCST (HSPA) required; preferred certifications include CER, CIS, and CHL.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sterile processing, with at least 1 year in a level 1 academic medical center with 20 or more ORs.
• Service Line experience required: Robotics, General, Cardiac, Peripheral Vascular, Cardiovascular, ENT, Eyes, Laparoscopic, Orthopedic, Neuro, Dental, Plastics, Urology, Endoscopy.
• Competent in Decontamination, Prep and Pack, Steam sterilization, Low-temperature sterilization, and endoscope reprocessing.
• Familiarity with Olympus scopes and washer, loaner trays, and Da Vinci Robot Xi.
• Experience in handwashing delicate items.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Process and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sterile processing areas.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols during all processing activities.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile equipment.
• Conduct quality control checks on sterilization processes and equipment.
