Alternative Investment Fund Accountant

DescriptionKforce has a client in NYC that is seeking an Alternative Investment Fund Accountant that performs daily accounting activities in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures, such as, maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports.Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field, or equivalent work experience* Two to five years of related experience, preferably in portfolio/partnership accountingPreferred Skills/Experience:* CPA or CA preferred* Thorough knowledge in accounting, reporting and analysis* Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance* Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously* Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills* Proficient computer navigational skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications* Experience in (PCS) InvestranJob TypeContractCompensation50 - $54
