Position: ASME Header Welder 

Location: Sapulpa, OK 

Pay: $25 to $30/hour

Type: Full-time; Contract  

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00am to 3:00pm 

ProRecruiters is seeking an ASME Header Welder to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description:  

• Weld headers and pressure-containing components in accordance with ASME code and approved welding procedures.
• Produce high-quality welds capable of passing radiographic (X-ray) inspection.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, engineering drawings, and fabrication specifications.
• Perform GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), FCAW, and/or GMAW (MIG) welding as required.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and make repairs as needed.
• Work closely with Quality Control to ensure all products meet customer and ASME specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.

Position Requirements:

• 5 years of ASME header welding experience. (Candidates with air cooler assembly experience will be considered if they have direct, hands-on knowledge of assembling air-cooled heat exchangers (ACHEs), including headers, tube bundles, structural components, and related assemblies.)
• Demonstrated ability to produce X-ray quality welds.
• Strong understanding of ASME welding procedures and fabrication standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience working in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes.
• Ability to safely wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
