CoWorx has partnered with one of the nation's largest last-mile delivery providers, who are looking to add Customer Service Representatives to their team in Suffolk, VA. The position is responsible for monitoring route performance, coordinating with drivers and contractors, addressing delivery expectations, maintaining accurate operational records, and ensuring timely communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities: What your day-to-day will look like:

• Maintain customer profile information and accurately enter load information from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system.
• Provide timely updates to account managers regarding problem loads, corrective actions taken, and shipment status information.
• Communicate load status, delays, and delivery updates to receivers and customers as needed.
• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to verify shipments arrive on time, in good condition, and in accordance with customer requirements.
• Conduct driver check calls to confirm shipment status, transit progress, and expected delivery schedules.
• Validate load information and supporting documentation prior to marking loads as delivered to support accurate accounting and billing processes.
• Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and service issues, completing all required documentation and reporting activities.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments while coordinating shipment activities with customers, carriers, and account managers.
• Accept or decline load opportunities based on guidance and direction provided by account managers.
• Provide drivers with detailed directions, routing instructions, and shipment information to support safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries.

Desired Background/Skills: Minimum of one year of logistics experience required. General knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience preparing routine reports, documentation, and business correspondence. Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage transportation-related information accurately and efficiently.
