Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Location: New York, NY 10037

Job Type: 14-Week Contract | Local & Traveler

Schedule: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week

Pay Rate:

• Local: $2,450 - $2,550/Week

• Traveler: $2,900 - $3,060/Week

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Labor & Delivery experience, fetal monitoring expertise, and the ability to respond effectively to high-acuity situations.

• Active New York State RN License.

• NYSED License Verification required.

• AHA BLS Certification.

• AHA ACLS Certification.

• Active NRP Certification.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.

• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.

• Strong fetal monitoring, assessment, and critical care skills.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.

• Monitor and interpret Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM).

• Administer medications and conscious sedation as required.

• Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and patient assessments.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

• Respond to maternal and neonatal emergencies.

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
